Does anyone have any tasty recipes for chicken drumettes in a crockpot?

Nothing with a lot of sugar or a flour coating, please. I am looking for something spicy or tangy. I am planning to go home during lunch and put them in the crockpot, so they can be ready by the time I get home from the gym tonight.Does anyone have any tasty recipes for chicken drumettes in a crockpot?

5 lbs. bag chicken wings (drumettes)


12 fl. oz. Louisiana Pre Crystal Hot Sauce


1-2 sticks butter





Fry chicken wings until golden brown and drain on paper towel. Mix hot sauce and melted butter and pour into deep pan or crock pot. Add chicken wings to sauce and heat thoroughly.

1 lg. can Parmesan cheese


2 tbsp. oregano


4 tbsp. parsley


1 tsp. salt


1 tsp. pepper


1 stick margarine


4-5 lbs. chicken wings





Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil. Melt margarine in small pan. Cut up chicken wings. Discard tips. Mix all dry ingredients in bowl. Dunk the chicken wings in margarine and roll in cheese mixture.


Place on cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 175 degree Celsius oven (around 350 degrees Fahrenheit) for 1 hour.


Serve warm.





*TERIYAKI CHICKEN DRUMETTES





1 pkg. chicken drumettes


1/2 c. teriyaki sauce


3/4 chopped green onions


3 cloves chopped garlic


Pepper





Combine all ingredients and pour over drumettes placed in a 10 x 6 x 1 1/2 inch baking pan. Cover with foil and marinate 1/2 hour. Bake covered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove foil and turn drumettes once. Let brown until almost all liquid has absorbed.





*Honey-Pineapple Chicken Drumettes





3 lb. chicken drumettes


1 garlic clove


1 C. fresh or canned pineapple


1/2 tsp. salt


1/2 tsp. ground black pepper


1 C. honey


1/2 C. soy sauce


2 Tbs. vegetable oil





Rinse and drain drumettes. Mince garlic and cut pineapple into 1 inch cubes. Combine the salt, pepper, honey, soy sauce, pineapple, vegetable oil and garlic in a bowl and mix well. Place drumettes in slow cooker and pour sauce over the wings. Cook covered on low setting for 6 to 7 hours





Tip-If u want it spicy u can avoid Honey.





*Barbecue Chicken Wings





3 pounds frozen chicken wings and drumettes, thawed


1-1/4 cups barbecue sauce


2 tablespoons chili sauce


1/4 cup honey


3 cloves garlic, minced





Pat the chicken drumettes dry with a paper towel


and place on broiler pan. Broil 5-6 inches from the


heat for 8-10 minutes, turning often, until chicken is


browned. Place in 3-4 quart crockpot. Mix remaining


ingredients in a small bowl and pour over drumettes.


Cover and cook on LOW for 4-5 hours. These can be held


for 1 hour after the cooking time on LOW





*Korean Spicy Chicken(Drumette) and Potato





2 1/2 lbs chicken drummettes or chicken pieces


2 large potato, cut into medium chunks


2 carrot, cut into 2 inch pieces or 10-12 baby carrot


1 large onion, cut into 8 pieces


1 green bell pepper, diced or red bell pepper


4 garlic clove, chopped


1/2 cup water


1/3-1/2 cup soy sauce


2 tablespoons white sugar (or to taste)


1 teaspoon fresh ginger (optional)


3 tablespoons hot pepper paste or korean red pepper paste or sweet chili sauce or hot sauce





In a large pot over medium heat, mix the chicken, potatoes, carrots, onion, sugar, ginger and garlic.


Pour in water and soy sauce, and stir in sugar and hot pepper paste.


Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer 45 minutes, until chicken juices run clear, vegetables are tender, and liquid has thickened.


You may also cook this in the crock pot for several hours.


The liquid will thicken as it cools





*Spicy Oriental Barbecued Chicken Drumettes





-Drumettes


1 (3- lb.) pkg. frozen chicken drumbettes, thawed


2 tablespoons margarine or butter, melted


1/4 cup pillsbury best all purpose flour or unbleached flour


-Sauce


1/3 cup hoisin sauce


2 tablespoons oriental chili garlic sauce


1 tablespoon margarine or butter, melted





Heat oven to 450 F.


With paper towels, pat excess moisture from thawed drumettes; place drumettes in large bowl.


Drizzle with 2 tablespoons melted margarine. Srinkle with flour; toss to mix (mixture will be crumbly).


Transfer mixture to ungreased 15脳10x1-inch baking pan, arranging drumettes in single layer.


Bake at 450 F for 40 to 45 minutes or until crisp and brown.


With slotted spoon, transfer browned drumettes to 4 to 6 quart slow cooker. In small bowl, combine all sauce ingredients; mix well.


Pour sauce over drumettes; toss lightly to coat with sauce.


Cover; cook on low setting for 1 to 2 hours.


28 drumettes; 14 servings.

INGREDIENTS


20 whole chicken wings*


2 cups low-sodium soy sauce


1/2 cup white wine or chicken broth


1/2 cup vegetable oil


2 cloves garlic cloves, minced


2 tablespoons sugar


2 teaspoons ground ginger








DIRECTIONS


Cut chicken wings into three sections; discard wing tips. Place wings in a large resealable heavy-duty plastic bag or 12-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking dish. In a bowl, combine remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour half of the sauce over chicken; turn to coat. Seal or cover the chicken and remaining sauce; refrigerate overnight. Drain chicken, discarding the marinade. Place chicken in a 5-qt. slow cooker; top with reserved sauce. Cover and cook on low for 3-1/2 to 4 hours or until chicken juices run clear. Transfer wings to a serving dish; discard cooking juices.
Spicy Chicken Wings


* 3 tbsp. vinegar


* 24 chicken wings, drummettes


* 1/4 c. hot pepper sauce, or less


* 1/2 c. melted butter


* 1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch original


* dry salad dressing mix





PREPARATION:


Preheat oven to 350掳. Mix all ingredients together except chicken wings and salad dressing mix. Place chicken wings in baking dish or jelly roll pan in a single layer. Pour sauce mixture over wings. Sprinkle with dry dressing mix. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until browned. Sprinkle with paprika if you like. To cook in crockpot, combine ingredients, cover, and cook on low 4 to 5 hours.
I used chicken wings with this recipe, I just didn't have to cook them as long as the thighs








Crockpot Sesame Seed Chicken





2 1bs. skinless, boneless chicken thighs.


1/2 C. low sodium soy sauce


1/3 C. packed brown sugar


1/4 tsp. garlic powder


1/4 tsp. ground ginger


1 Tbs. ketchup


2 Tbs. toasted sesame seeds





Place chicken thighs in the slow cooker. Whisk together remaining ingredients in a bowl and pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high 3 or 4.
