Does anyone have any chicken recipes from the la lite cookbook?

I have my own Indian Recipie


ingredients


Chicken cut into pieces (you can also mix curry powder %26amp; salt to chicken before frying in oil)


chilli powder 1/2 small spoon


clove -1


ginger garlic paste


2 table spoons of oil %26amp; 1 small spoon of salt


fry pan pour oil and fry chicken for 5 mins ,add chillipowder adn fry for 3 mins,add gingergarlic paste to it fry for 5 mins,add clove(a masala item a seed in black color) and salt


fry for 3 mins pour i 0r 2 cups of water and keep the lid


after 15 mins remove pan from stove ...


serve it with rice..it really tastes good

This my own recipe a big hit in my family


Use only chicken legs


6-7 Chicken legs washed and dried with kitchen towel


1 cup yogurt


10-12 cloves crushed garlic


Small piece of ginger


salt to taste


10-15 peppercorns crushed


Marinate the chicken in yogurt with all the other ingredients for at least 2 hrs


Chop 2 large onions and fry them in olive oil or any other veg oil till golden brown now add the marinated chicken and cook on high flame till all the yogurt evaporates and chicken is all done


Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and cld be had with cocktails or as a meal with hot rice
Sweet %26amp; Sour Chicken





1 Protein, 2 Vegetables, 1 Fruit


Ingredients





* 6 or 8oz (168 or 224g) boneless-skinless, chicken breast


* 3 green onions, thinly sliced


* 1/4 medium green pepper, cut into 1-inch (2.5cm) pieces


* 2 Tbsp (30ml) red wine vinegar


* 1 Tbsp (15ml) cornstarch


* 3/4 cup (200ml / 147g) fresh pineapple, cut into 1-inch (2.5cm) pieces


* 2 Tbsp (30ml) brown sugar substitute


* 2 Tbsp (30ml) ketchup


* 1/2 tomato, seeded and diced


* 1/2 cup (125ml) low-sodium chicken broth


* Nonfat cooking spray


How to Prepare


* Cut chicken into strips or 1-inch (2.5cm) pieces.


* Coat skillet or wok with nonfat cooking spray. Add onion and green pepper; stir-fry over medium heat until vegetables are crisp-tender. Remove and set aside.


* Coat skillet or wok, again, with nonfat cooking spray. Add chicken pieces and stir-fry over medium heat until chicken is cooked through.


* Mix vinegar, cornstarch, chicken broth, brown sugar substitute and ketchup together.


* Add sauce to skillet, or wok, with chicken. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.


* Return onion and green pepper to skillet or wok. Stir in pineapple chunks. Cover and cook 2 minutes, or until heated through. Stir in tomato just before serving.

Hickory BBQ Chicken





Ingedients:


1 can del monte


hickory sloppy joe sauce





1/4 cup fresh lime juice


8 half boneless chicken breast, skinned
I don't know if this is from the la lite cookbook. But I know you'll like it





CHICKEN NUGGETS WITH HONEY MUSTARD


SAUCE





8 oz. chicken breast halves, skinned, boned and cut into bite sized pieces


1 tbsp. olive oil


1 clove garlic, minced


3/4 c. bread crumbs, finely ground


1/4 tsp. each garlic and onion powder


1/8 tsp. ground pepper


1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper


1 egg mixed with 1/2 tsp chicken bouillon





SAUCE:





1 tbsp. Dijon mustard


1 1/2 tsp. honey





Preheat oven to 475 degrees.


Beat egg and mix with chicken bouillon.





Combine chicken, olive oil, garlic and ground pepper. Marinate 30 minutes.





Combine bread crumbs and seasonings in shallow dish. Dip chicken in egg and roll in breadcrumb mixture; place on large cookie sheet. Spray with olive oil.





Bake 15 minutes.





Meanwhile, combine honey with mustard.





To serve, dip nuggets into sauce.
